Product Details
Florfenicol is a broad-spectrum veterinary antibiotic of the amphenicol class. In animal husbandry, it is widely used to treat respiratory diseases in cattle and swine caused by Pasteurella and Actinobacillus, as well as intestinal infections from E. coli and Salmonella in livestock and poultry. It is also applied in aquaculture to control bacterial diseases such as Edwardsiellosis and Streptococcosis in fish. Additionally, florfenicol is used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient in injectable and oral veterinary formulations, and plays a role in food safety residue monitoring programs.
