Product Details
Fumaric Acid as Feed Acidifier Fumaric acid is an organic acid widely used as a feed acidifier to lower the pH of the digestive tract and create an optimal environment for nutrient digestion and absorption. It inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella, while promoting the proliferation of beneficial lactic acid bacteria in the gut. Fumaric acid is particularly effective in piglet diets, compensating for insufficient gastric acid secretion during the weaning period, reducing post-weaning diarrhea and improving growth performance. It is also applied in poultry and aquaculture feeds to enhance feed hygiene and support gut health.
